Oak Fishing Pool

The picturesque Oak Pool is one of the oldest pools at Boldings. It has 30 pegs and is especially popular for pleasure anglers and clubs.

As the name suggests, when you fish this pool you will find yourself surrounded by beautiful old Oak trees which dictate the pool’s shape and many of the peg’s features. In fact, one of the great attractions of the Oak Pool for many anglers is the varying nature and natural individuality of each peg that surrounds it; a thorough ‘plumbing-up’ of your swim to maximise its potential is recommended!
